Access panel for outdoor kitchen plumbing?
Outdoor kitchen island needs access panel for gas and water lines. Exposed to weather – rain, sun, heat. Any panels built for exterior use?

Exterior panels take a beating. Regular indoor ones rust or fade fast outside. I used a heavy-duty powder-coated metal one rated for outdoor – thick gauge, sealed edges, UV-resistant finish. Door latches firmly so wind doesn’t flap it. Survived a full summer of rain and 40°C heat with zero issues. This is what’s installed in my backyard setup:

14×14 gave good working room. Applied extra exterior-grade silicone around perimeter.
