The waves are higher than you expected. The wind is louder than your prayers. And your heart beats fast — not with excitement, but with fear.
Peter knew that feeling. One moment, he was walking on water toward Jesus, the next, he was sinking, swallowed by the storm. But here’s the miracle — Jesus didn’t let him go under.
“Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him.” — Matthew 14:31
Friend, your storm is not too strong for the Savior’s hand. Your fear is not too loud for His voice. The moment you cry out, “Lord, save me,” He is already moving toward you.
Hold onto this truth today: You may feel surrounded by chaos, but you are upheld by Christ.
Today’s Action Step: Take five minutes. Close your eyes. Picture yourself reaching out your hand — and imagine Jesus grasping it firmly. Let His grip remind you you’re not alone.
With love and light, Kristine Hawkins
